EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing)

EMDR is a structured therapy that helps you process and ease the distress of difficult or traumatic memories. During sessions, you’ll focus on a memory while using gentle bilateral eye movements, taps, or sounds, helping the memory feel less intense. EMDR can support you in reducing distress, shifting negative beliefs about yourself, and improving daily functioning. The pace is always guided by what feels right for you.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a goal-oriented form of therapy that helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors. It’s based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and actions are interconnected, and that changing one can positively affect the others. In sessions, you will focus on recognizing and challenging negative thoughts, developing healthier coping strategies, and practicing new behaviors. CBT is typically present-focused, collaborative, and skill-based.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is a mindfulness-based form of therapy that aims to help you develop the capacity and ability to stay present, accept difficult thoughts and emotions, and take meaningful action aligned with your values. Rather than trying to eliminate distressing feelings, we will work to change your relationship with those experiences through acceptance, mindfulness, self-awareness, and committed action. The goal is to help you live more fully and intentionally, even in the presence of pain, anxiety, or uncertainty.
